Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Specialist to join our growing team.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients with computer systems, hardware, or software issues.

You will also respond to customer queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Work remotely from your home office
  • Attend occasional onsite meetings and visits with clients
  • Provide customers with support from basic help desk support to advanced troubleshooting
  • Primary escalation point for technology problems that can't be resolved by tier 1 support staff
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Occasional oncall availability during evenings/weekends to ensure business operations continuity
  • Participate in operations or infrastructure projects/activities
  • Perform any other IT duties as required

Minimum Requirements
-
College Diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent)
-
3+ years' experience in IT administration, preferably for an MSP

  • Suitable at home work environment
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Technical knowledge of server and computer operating systems
  • Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards

Advantageous Qualifications

  • A+ / Network + / Security+ / MCSA / MCSE certifications
  • Experience with automation using PowerShell
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune
