Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Developmental Service Workers. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with transportation to appointments, recreational activities, and community outings
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home, hospice care, or assisted living is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach towards individuals in your care
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
$17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
