Are you a highly motivated and determined Sales Manager? Then this is your opportunity to join our growing sales team in our Financial Sales office, located in Toronto


Neilson Financial Services are looking for a strong Sales Manager to join our team and lead a team of fantastic Sales Agents selling life insurance products via outbound and inbound calls.

What you will be doing everyday as Sales Manager?

  • To drive optimal sales performance by steering the right atmosphere, expert sales practice and performance management of Sales Advisors. ~1012 Sales Advisors to a team
  • Conduct meaningful 121 sessions with Agents; include coaching and development plans and work with individuals to improve performance.
  • Create a high energy environment to drive optimum results by engaging the team, using team meetings, Buzz sessions and incentives.
  • Completion and updating of weekly and monthly trackers, dashboards, reporting on business unit performance; taking accountability for team results.
  • Maintain an uptodate knowledge of products and processes as well as insurance industry best practices and competitor activity.
  • Uphold a positive, supportive and engaging leadership style when communicating and rolling out changes/updates or driving new initiatives.

The type of person we are looking for

  • Experience at a contact centre or inside sales contact centre
  • Management experience in Insurance
  • A results driven individual with integrity and genuine customer empathy at the heart of their work ethic
  • A natural leader who can hold influence over a team of driven sales people
  • Someone with a background in, and hands on approach to, sales coaching
  • Outstanding communicators that can make someone's day within minutes of engaging in conversation
  • An ambitious growth mindset that is always looking for new ways to improve and develop
  • Open minded thinkers that can embrace a new way of working as we challenge the norm of complex product offerings in the market
  • Able to commit to 40 hours per over 5 days per week Monday to Sunday (opening hours 9am to 8pm)
  • Currently
    Monday to Friday only, but could change in the future due to business needs
  • Preferred to have an active Life License, LLQP qualified
