- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
- Minimum 2-5 years recent experience in paediatric emergency and/or clinic required
- Current PALS certificate required.
- Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with families.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required.
- Paediatric assessment skills.
- Paediatric medication calculation and administration skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Good team player.
