- The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned Massage Therapy courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams.
- The Massage Therapy Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion
- Advise students on treatment and safety pre-treatment to ensure safe treatment of all clients.
- Provide consultation to students while they are performing massages as required and/or upon request.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Registered Massage Therapist in Good Standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Previous teaching experience would be considered an asset.
- Excellent English communication skills, organizational skills, and a professional attitude are required.
