Position:
Construction Estimator - Stair and Railing


Salary:
50-60K


Location:
Barrie

Shift: 8:00am-5pm


Responsibilities:

Accurate estimates of projects, which include materials and labour, with consideration of productivity factors and location impacts from blueprints, drawings and scope.

Offering our clients assistants in choosing all components of stair and railings.

Communicating with clients to answer any questions that they might have regarding the budgetary quote.

Assisting with scheduling installations and services.

Attend to showroom traffic by assist with walk in clients for stair and railing questions, quotes, and orders.

Present, sell, price and close clients on products and services.

Basic job site support duties. Assist contractors and clients when problems on job sites occur.

Other duties will be assigned, as necessary.


Qualifications:
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Excellent Customer service is required.

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications is required.

Experience estimating in the construction industry is an asset.

Knowledge of Ontario building code and standards an asset.

Prior sales experience is considered an asset.

Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently.

A desire to learn and continually develop.
