Child Care Provider - Etobicoke, Canada - CanadianNanny
Description
We are looking for an energetic, loving, and caring individual to look after our 1 year old son. We would like this individual to be an extension of our parenting, while being able to bring their own talents and experience to raise our daughter.- Location: South Etobicoke, Lakeshore/Browns Line
- Monday to Thursday, 8.5 to 9 hours a day (42 to 45)
- Starting immediately (from April 1 to May 15, 2024)
Responsibilities:
- Create a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment
- Plan and lead educational activities, including reading books
- Plan outdoor activities/go for walks (weather permitting)
- Plan and prepare lunch and snacks
- Place her down for naps
- Light housecleaning (e.g., high chair, spills, tidy kitchen)
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience caring for infants/toddlers 12-24 months
- First aid training and child/infant CPR preferred
- ECE Certificate or training in a related field preferred
- Driver's license/own vehicle preferred
- Minimum 3 references required
- Authorized to work in Canada
Other:
- Competitive pay/salary based on Ministry of Labour AND Local Area standards
