- Réaliser des tests sur nos produits finis conformément aux protocoles ASTM, ISO et des tests internes pour toutes les catégories de revêtements de sol existantes qui sont en conception ou en phase de lancement;
- Exécuter des tests d'adhésifs;
- Développez des protocoles d'essai internes ciblant spécifiquement la performance du produit sur le terrain ;
- Effectuer des analyses comparatives.
- Assister l'équipe R&D dans le développement de nouveaux produits;
- Assister nos établissements de fabrication dans la résolution de problèmes et les efforts d'amélioration de la qualité;
- Développer et maintenir la bibliothèque d'analyse comparative des produits nord-américains à des fins de communication avec le laboratoire central européen;
- Rédiger des rapports techniques;
- Expédier des échantillons pour des analyses internes et externes;
- Effectuer toutes les tâches connexes.
- Diplôme d'études collégial en chimie (DEC, AEC) ou tous autres domaines jugés équivalent.
- De trois (3) à cinq (5) ans d'expérience en environnement industriel;
- Expérience de tests de caoutchouc et de PVC (un atout).
- Connaissance approfondie de l'environnement Microsoft Office;
- Bilinguisme essentiel, à des fins de communication avec nos établissements internationaux (français et anglais, oral et écrit);
- Bon esprit analytique et conceptuel;
- Habileté à travailler seul ou en équipe;
- Souci du détail, excellente capacité d'observation;
- Grande tolérance au travail debout;
- Être en mesure de soulever des charges pouvant aller jusqu'à 25 kg.

Rôle :
Le technicien de laboratoire R&D a comme rôle principal la caractérisation des solutions de revêtement de sol fini, en testant par des méthodes établies telles qu'ASTM, ISO ou par des protocoles internes. Cette caractérisation sera utilisée pour décider des lancements de nouveaux produits, ainsi que pour aider l'équipe de marketing et de vente dans le positionnement des produits. Les responsabilités supplémentaires incluent l'assistance à l'équipe R&D au niveau des tests sur les produits en cours de conception, la mise à jour de la base de données d'analyse comparative, ainsi que la conception de nouveaux protocoles de tests.
