About This Role
As a QA Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Working closely with the QA team and reporting to the Supervisor, QA, you will be involved in the key components of the QA cycle, including Testing, Inspection, and Reworks.

This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our products and uphold our commitment to quality.


Responsibilities

Test machines (End user level): Execute testing procedures and instructions to ensure the functionality and quality of our products.

Refurbishing Tasks: Complete assigned tasks related to refurbishing, including QA inspections and rework, following established written procedures and instructions.

Health and Safety: Promote and adhere to Health and Safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Lab Projects:Collaborate on refurbishing Lab projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ad Hoc Tasks:Undertake any other work, duties, projects, or ad hoc requests as assigned by the Supervisor, QA.


Requirements:

Experience:3 years of experience in QA inspection work.

Education: CEGEP or completed high school.
-
Language Skills:Must be able to read, write, and calculate in English or French.

Manual Skills:Proficient with manual work of a technical nature.
-
Personal Qualities: Motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented with alertness and good listening skills.
-
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 60 pounds.


Soft Skills and Industry Preferences:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ideally from the electronic world, but this is an asset, not a must.

Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dollard-Des Ormeaux, QC H9B 3H6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • QA
Inspection Work: 1 year (preferred)
