    This is an in-office position with the ability to work one day from home per week as requested.

    The Intermediate Architect will actively contribute to the design, delivery and coordination of all phases of the project from pre-design to site administration.

    This will include responsibility for architectural drawings, design integration/strategies and planning requirements. Collaboration is a key component of this role and will involve consultant coordination, client relations and strong project communication. You will work on a variety of projects including multifamily, mixed-use, commercial & master planning projects. This is an in-office position with the ability to work one day from home per week as requested.
    Assist in Schematic Design and Design Development of a project
    Research various building types, including precedent images and use of materials
    Use 3-D technology to graphically describe the intent and massing of the project
    Prepare design and/or technical working drawings, in AutoCAD or Revit
    Collaborate in the execution of the Construction Administration of a project
    Field measure existing buildings or parts of buildings

    Completion of an undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree in Architecture
    ~ Intern Architect applicants must be registered with AIBC or eligible for registration in the province of BC
    ~5+ years' local experience in architectural design and/or working drawing experience
    ~ Demonstrated understanding of building technology and materials
    ~ Understanding of Rezoning, Development Permit, and Building Permit processes
    ~ Able to produce both written and graphic work with a high level of accuracy and quality
    ~ Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D software such as Rhino, Sketch-up, Revit, etc.
