You will transform raw footage into engaging content for social platforms.
This role requires someone who understands short-form pacing hooks retention strategies audience psychology editing long-form YouTube program content applying color correction audio cleanup structuring content maximize engagement watch time working closely with the Creative Director producers on-screen talent contributing ideas during planning brainstorming sessions participating in review feedback meetings organizing footage B-roll templates maintaining consistent brand style exporting final videos proper formats each platform staying current trends platform best practices adjusting editing style performance metrics watch time engagement click-through rate delivering projects creative standard required experience video editing online platforms strong experience editing short-form content advanced skills Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Audition strong portfolio featuring short-form long-form work ability work full-time Kelowna BC organization time management skills comfortable working fast-paced feedback-driven environment preferred experience editing personal brands fast-growing media companies familiarity DaVinci Resolve Final Cut Pro basic graphic design skills Canva Photoshop Illustrator interest entrepreneurship personal development creator economy
