- To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- Overseeing and working with the Housekeepingteam, servicing both properties
- Provide training, leadership and mentoring tothe Housekeeping team, ensuring the group is aware of and engaged with ourmission, purpose and values
- Supplies ordering and inventory control
- Assigning responsibilities to team members
- Lead daily crew talks and action follow ups asnecessary
- Supervision, quality control, feedback andaccountability for team members
- Checking and reporting current status of rooms
- Ongoing suite care
- Preparing staffing schedules according to hoteloccupancy
- Support and lead the team in all aspects of theresort wide Safety Management Program
- To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know adhere and enforce all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
- Previous success in a Supervisory role an asset
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Reliable and responsible
- Ability to Bend, Lift, Push, and Pull up to 40 lbs.
