    We are looking to fill the full-timeyear-round position of Hotel Housekeeping Supervisorat Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guest walks into their clean room, takes adeep breath, and immediately relax. You are the heart of the hotel, givingthe gift of a place our guests dream to be. The ideal candidate will have apositive attitude, be physically capable, and have excellent organizational andtime management skills.     You Will:

  • To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
  • Overseeing and working with the Housekeepingteam, servicing both properties
  • Provide training, leadership and mentoring tothe Housekeeping team, ensuring the group is aware of and engaged with ourmission, purpose and values
  • Supplies ordering and inventory control
  • Assigning responsibilities to team members
  • Lead daily crew talks and action follow ups asnecessary
  • Supervision, quality control, feedback andaccountability for team members
  • Checking and reporting current status of rooms
  • Ongoing suite care
  • Preparing staffing schedules according to hoteloccupancy
  • Support and lead the team in all aspects of theresort wide Safety Management Program
  • To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
  • Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  • Know adhere and enforce all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
  • You Have:

  • Previous success in a Supervisory role an asset
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Ability to Bend, Lift, Push, and Pull up to 40 lbs.
