Overview:

Transdev Canada is actively seeking a

Project Coordinator for Ontario Line an Automatic Metro Operation in the Downtown Toronto Area. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of this and other rail projects by providing a range of technical, logístical and administrative services. This individual will be highly organized and have a detail-oriented approach to their work. This role will be the point of contact between the project team, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring that all project activities are coordinated effectively and efficiently. Transdev is present throughout North America, with a strong presence in Canada.

Project Coordinator will be reporting to CEO of Connect 6ix Ontario Line Services - Paul Lopes and supported by the Transdev Canada Rail team.


Responsibilities:


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing project documentation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all activities are running smoothly
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to in all project activities
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Monitor and report on project performance and progress
  • Prepare project reports and presentations
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and implementation of project activities

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination and management would be an asset
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and best practices
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent timemanagement, planning, conceptual and consultative skills
