Concord, Ontario (close to Keele St. and Highway 7)

Shift available:
Day Shift (6:30pm-3:00pm)

Clover Tool Manufacturing Limited is Canadian based and owned, privately held company. We specialize in automotive tooling, stampings and assemblies. We are capable of running a number of diverse projects. Today, Clover Tool operates in over a 175,000 square foot facility providing a full service solution to its customers.

From prototyping, tooling, R&D work, stamping, assembling and welding to finished product, Clover Tool and its dedicated staff are committed to our customers' requirements and wishes.

Responsibilities:

Instruct and train all employees
Instruct all employees in the reporting of accidents, incidents and damage to tools or company owned property
Assist in organize shift activities and staff to perform as a team in an efficient manner
Ensure all employees produce the highest quality product in an efficient manner
Ensure all reporting is as per the instructions provided (production hours, downtime, attendance, damage reporting, daily shift activity reports)
Ensure the production department and exterior are clean, safe and in an organized manner at all times.
Reports all accidents or incidents to the Supervisor.
Participate in employee suggestion programs and meetings as required.
Motivate all employees to work efficiently while producing quality products
Recommends or initiates staff actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary measures to the Supervisor.
Will act as the backup, in the Supervisors absence
Administer activities such as vacation planning, shift schedules, and employee training files.
Ensure that employees work in compliance to OHSA.
Organize production activities to optimize equipment usage, staff efficiency, and staffing levels while reducing downtime.
Develop and maintain safety and production policies and procedures and work instructions for new processes
Coordinate all production activities with the Production Scheduling and Traffic Department to meet customer delivery requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

Must be hands on and willing to work with little or no supervision
Post-Secondary Training in Supervision and Management Skill (is an asset)
Broad experience in various types of Metal Stamping or Tooling
Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and strategic planning capabilities
Able to run and set up various sized Stamping Presses
Automotive Manufacturing experience
