Job summary
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides care for residents who have stable medical conditions but require 24-hour nursing care.The PSW assists in delivering high-quality person-centered care on assigned Resident Home Areas and reports any changes in resident status or concerns to registered nursing staff.
- Familiarizes self with the care plan of residents to whom she/he is assigned to provide care.
- Follows a consistent approach when interacting with residents who may exhibit difficult behaviours.
