About the CURE Foundation
Founded in October 1996, CURE is a national foundation that provides funding for breast cancer.

Our mission is to work with Canadian women and men, health professionals, complementary foundations and teaching hospitals to improve breast cancer outcomes for those affected.

The Foundation supports research, education, awareness and the purchase of equipment that can help realize these goals.


Working on a wide variety of projects with key stakeholders, this person will gain invaluable experience in not-for-profit operations, and develop skills in administration, fundraising, event planning and marketing, among others.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support Operations Manager with general office management.
  • Participate in accounting functions, including depositing cheques, making collections calls, reporting payments to payroll, and managing online and offline donations.
  • Maintain database of donors and key stakeholders, ensuring data is accurate and uptodate.
  • Provide support in the development, implementation and management of events and programs throughout the year.
  • Act as liaison with donors and external parties, answering questions, sending tax receipts and ensuring they have a positive experience with the organization.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and record minutes.
  • Provide logístical/technical support for events, meetings, and trainings, including developing and reviewing presentation materials, coordinating registration, and providing tech support.
  • Prepare packages and organize mailouts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Perfectly bilingual, English/French, spoken and written.
  • A team player, willing to take on a variety of roles and tasks as needed.
  • Extremely organized and detailoriented.
  • Techsavvy; able to learn and implement new tools and technologies quickly and teach others.
  • A strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Passionate about helping others and making a difference.
  • Curious about the inner workings of a notforprofit organization.
  • Comfortable working in an office environment.

Nice to Have Skills:


  • Salesforce experience.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Experience with content creation, and social media and website management.
  • Experience in event planning, fundraising, office management and/or project management.

Working conditions:


  • Full time Monday
  • Friday 9am5pm
  • Hybrid (23x days/week in the office, depending on time of year and projects being worked on) in Mount Royal, Montreal
