The Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced, creative Communications Coordinator/Analyst to join our team in Calgary.
Reporting to the Communications Specialist, the Communications Coordinator/Analyst is a key member of the communications team and will be responsible for content development and writing, supporting the delivery and implementation of internal and external content, project management, support with town hall and corporate event planning and logistics.
You will be responsible for the coordination and execution of various marketing and communications initiatives and tactics.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Wolf's internal communication channels and ensure they remain up to date
- Develop and manage content for our intranet and external website updates and reviews
- Update website content and layout as needed using WordPress
- Provide media relations/monitoring on a regular basis
- Support the planning and logistics of corporate/companywide events
- Support crisis communications and the Public Information Officer in incident response
Skills:
- Superior, versatile writing skills, including planning, research, writing, editing, and evaluating
- Ability to proactively develop and maintain strong work relationships using a collaborative and consultative approach
- Ability to balance multiple priorities with strict deadlines in a fastpaced, lean environment
Education:
- Degree or diploma in communications, public relations or other related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 35 years' experience as a Communications generalist
- Strong digital communications and information management experience
- Experience with SharePoint and/or WordPress platforms would be an asset
- Experience in the energy sector would be an asset
