We are currently looking for a co-op to join our Supply Chain team in the Richmond Hill, Ontario office. This is a full-time opportunity involving hours per week. Placement is for 12 months (September September 2024).

Job Duties:

The Supply Chain Analyst assists the Supply Chain Planning team to:

  • Managing inventory levels and optimizing stock replenishment strategies
  • Procurement of Finished Goods and Parts from Olympus affiliate and 3rd party vendors
  • Monitor and track ETA accuracy as well as backorders and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any logístical issues.
  • Monitor supplier and vendors performance (fill rate, on time delivery, Service levels, turnaround times,)
  • Providing analytical insight from large volumes of data to drive efficiency within the supply chain team and support the decisionmaking process,
  • Analyzing demand forecasts and coordinating with various departments to align supply with demand.
  • Participate in the implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth coordination between supply chain, sales, and operations.

Job Qualifications:


Required:


  • You must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

  • A strong multitasker that can prioritize duties to meet objectives and deadlines in a fastpaced work environment.
  • A teamplayer with the ability to collaborate with multiple aspects of the business.
  • Take the initiative to solve challenges using analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Selfdriven and proactive, seeking out how to improve processes and keymetrics.
  • Strong level of analytical skills and mathematical ability.
  • Excellent user of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (Excel Expert).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
