    AUTOMATION ENGINEER
    Aversan Inc.

    () is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.

    We are currently seeking a qualified Automation Engineer towork on leading edge technology products .

    The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Design and implement control systems for complex automated sequences of events.
    Develop motion control systems using servo drives.
    Integrate process components such as pumps, valves, and actuators into control systems.
    Develop target delivery systems and delivery machines for use in nuclear reactor environments.
    Upgrade existing plant systems using modern hardware and software.
    Develop control systems using standard industrial automation technology such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    Must have 5+ years experience.
    Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
    Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly with Schneider/Modicon M580 PLCs.
    Experience with HMIs, specifically Citect or Wonderware.
    Familiarity with Siemens and HIMA automation systems.
    Expertise in industrial automation and motion control systems.
    Ability to work on complex motion or process control systems.
    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    Experience in Canadian nuclear or other high-QA field (e.g. aerospace, medical, defense) preferred.
