Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer


Overview:


Daily duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring correct patient identification (e.g., confirmation of patient name, DOB, examination to be performed and physician authorization is present).
  • Ensuring patient examination media contains patient name, ID#, referring physician, type & date of service.
  • Explaining the procedure to the patient
  • Following facility examination protocols and performing ultrasound studies ordered by the referring physician.
  • Producing sufficient images of diagnostic quality, correctly annotated including accurate measurements.
  • Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control standards
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting with and maintaining relationship with the Quality Advisor

Qualifications:


  • Current CMRITO/ARDMS certifications required.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ultrasound procedures
  • Excellent punctuality and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Hours:


  • Thursday 2:00 PM 7:00 PM

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
From $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
