Muir Intasco, a leading converter and distributor of custom tape and adhesive applications is seeking a full-time Material Handler & Production Support worker.
About the role
As a member of the Production team, the Material Handler and Production Support Associate will be responsible for ensuring product is always in supply and in place for production and shipping purposes. This includes gathering inventory and materials and using the forklift to transport it from other buildings and stock production lines and shipping areas with the materials needed. The employee will also be responsible for ensuring inventory is stocked and accurate and supporting production with tabbing and various tasks. This position will also act as a backup for Shipping and Receiving when needed.
What you'll do
Working within the Production team meet the demands of the business through (but not limited to):
- Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Warehouse cleaning and light maintenance
- Cycle Counts
- Supply Material to and from Production
- Put stock and production materials away
- Maintain/record material inventory and location
- Locate materials and supplies listed on production orders
Tabbing
- Inspect product
- Remove/peel connecting adhesives and waste from the finished product
- Separate, stack and package product
Qualifications
- Secondary school completion and relevant warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Forklift licensed
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8 AM - 4 PM
The pay range for this role is:
