Position Summary:


Reporting to the Manager, IT Vendor Management, this position is responsible for financial management and reporting of IT vendor contract spend, budget, invoicing, accruals as well as billing activities.

This individual will support Vendor Management initiatives, including participating in vendor meetings and escalations and gathering and processing vendor related information as required for contract changes, renewals, and sourcing.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Research and know the latest on Vendor Management (VM) Contract Management (CM) standard methodologies
  • Build Vendor Management tools/processes and handle financial reporting for a number of key vendors
  • Participate and collaborate with Finance on the departmental financial planning and reporting process for operating budgets
  • Develop departmental quarterly financial forecasts for VM internal use
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPI) metrics to measure departmental performance and realization of business value outcomes
  • Establish and implement alert thresholds for departmental key performance indicators
  • Research standard methodologies and analyze existing IT vendor contracts in support of the Vendor Management Office and specifically, vendor financial management services
  • Conduct research, rationalize data, and performs quantitative analysis on financial and operational data. Research standard methodologies for establishing performance management guidelines, reviews vendor contracts to build individual measures for strategic vendors
  • Develop and recommend a course of action (based on analysis of contract tickler reporting and vendor contracts) to IT senior management, as well as develop and maintain an IT Portfolio of products and services database
  • Analyze and advise on all revenue generating and cost savings opportunities relating to information and communication technology and their vendors
  • Develop methods for allocation of IT costs by;
  • IT products and services (IT Portfolio)
  • Performs trend analysis and reports usage correlations for IT resources by
  • IT products and services (IT Portfolio)
  • GTAA departmental usage; and Air Carrier Usage
  • Performs monthly variance analysis, determines the root cause of anomalies, and recommends a corrective course of action to IT Senior Management
  • Through contract review, propose vendor rationalization/consolidation opportunities
  • Collaborate with business owners, partner, IT vendors and airport Tenants and Air Carriers to validate and process IT vendor billings/ invoices Complete, validate and submit monthly reports and billing
  • Manage all invoice chargeback activities to ensure accurate allocation of all flowthrough charges
  • Contribute to updating contract database and reports to be distributed internally and enter key data into Vendor Portfolio's and the IT VMO Scorecard
  • Develop presentation methods (Dashboards) and reporting formats for departmental and vendor KPI's
  • Prepare presentations of vendor financial performance and spend reports by department and presents results to IT Senior Management monthly
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the business outcomes from IT delivery of products and services
  • Report on vendor health check based on key performance indicators and other measures
  • Prepare meaningful presentations that report the IT departmental financial performance and present to the VM
  • Implement and deliver standardized financial procedures and practices as well as assess existing practices and make recommendations where required.

Qualifications:


  • College Diploma or University Degree with a specialization in Finance and Quantitative Analysis
  • Formal training in Financial and Operational Reporting
  • 5 years of practical experience in financial planning, analysis and business performance analysis and reporting
  • 3 years of working experience in a large outsourced IT environment
  • Able to acquire and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Proficiency in designing and implementing financial planning and reporting processes in an IT outsourced environment
