The opportunity


We are searching for a passionate storyteller with an eye for strategy to join our growing team as a Staff Content Consultant.

EY Design Studio's (Innovation and Experience Design) is a small but mighty team within the Business Consulting service line of EY Canada.

As we work towards our mission of being Canada's premier end-to-end digital design studio, we need more hands on deck.

This is an exciting time to join our team, as this position will play a valuable role in accelerating growth and crafting outstanding work in the Studio's content marketing capability.

Your key responsibilities


In one sentence, this role will be responsible for helping our clients talk to their customers in more engaging and unique ways.

You will be accountable for storytelling, strategy backed copywriting, content strategy and client relationship management.

Your work crafting copy and strategy will will drive for a variety of clients across a diverse range of industries.

This role requires a confident innovator and a progressive thinker who can connect digital and traditional marketing tactics to all aspects of a client's business - driving opportunities.

You will support cross-functional strategies and operations with internal and external teams including brand, media, communications, and product marketing. Working with our clients to support strategy, priorities, capabilities, and deliver on ambitious goals. You will be working at the intersection of content, business, and analytics, and marketing.


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • At least 2 years of experience crafting strategy backed content and marketing strategies
  • Experience in drafting marketing budgets and strategies, storytelling, and client relationship management.
  • Feels confident advocating for the customer in meetings with the client
  • Feels comfortable working with, and adapting marketing approaches to, a variety of brands, services, and products.
  • General experience working with MarTech tools such as: Google Analytics, Google Data Studios, Facebook Manager, Google Ads, Google tag manager, CRM, CDP, and more.
  • Experience building full funnel marketing strategies using a variety of channels.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a good mixture of strategic and creative thinking
  • Comfortable with collaborating, aggregating, and synthesizing information with a variety of teams both internal and external (including those outside of marketing and outside of Canada)
  • Uptodate on general industry and consumer trends
  • Certificate or higher in marketing, business, communications, journalism, or related is nice to have.
