This position requires the individual to work with the sales team to meet customer requirements by means of customer's sample evaluations, demonstration and presentation of the technical solution in front of technical and non-technical audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customers system sizing and quotations.
- To develop a broad technical knowledge of machine and motion controls system.
- Sales initiatives to grow business for Machine vision and motion control business in BC and Alberta
- Provide presales and postsales support to the customer as necessary.
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 25 years of Automation sales experience
- Good understanding of the PC environment is an absolute must
- Some PLC programming experience is preferred
- Experience with CAD software is preferred
- Experience with Servo's and Pneumatic systems is an asset.
- Must be selfdirected and selfmotivated; able to take daily assigned tasks and complete them with mínimal direction or assistance.
- Must have very good English communication skills, personable & professional
Minimum education and work experience required:
- Degree or Diploma in an engineering field such as Automation, Mechatronics, EE, ME or equivalent
Pay:
$50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
