Salaried Shift Supervisor - Langley
CKF Inc. is a Canadian owned and operated company manufacturing single use food packaging products. Our Langley Plant is looking for great people to join our hard working and dedicated team.

We require a Shift Supervisor to work on a full-time basis in our Langley Plant. This is a 12-hour shift work role reporting directly to Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (But are not Limited to):

Supervision and organization of 20+ unionized production staff and related operations
Assuring the safe operation of the plant on rotating 12hour shifts
Continuous Improvement through the implementation of methods to improve operations and reduce costs
Assisting with the development and implementation of various training, safety and quality programs
Assuring good labour relations and team development
Entering and approving employee time/payroll as required
Performing daily Quality, PPE and GMP audits
Assisting in cost effective mill staffing
Assisting the Operations Manager as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a grade 12 completion certificate. Postsecondary education, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Technology/Engineering or a related field would be an asset
Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have a strong commitment to health and safety
Must possess effective troubleshooting skills
Must possess competent computer skills
Must have a desire to work in a team environment
