Parts Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving part orders while maintaining proper records and entering the information into the management system, BSC.

Follow up with vendor regarding any problems

• Ensure parts price meets GP% on Parts Pricing list
• Ensure parts price changes are reflecting correctly in BSC
• Report discrepancies to management
• Mirror image parts to ensure they are for the correct vehicle
• If there is a problem, report to management, prepare return if required
• Take pictures of parts, used and or damaged, incorrect
• Ensure technicians have all required parts to complete the repair Maintain a clean and organized parts room and area
• Run daily Parts order report in BSC
• Follow up on late deliveries and back orders. Update mgtment and BSC with problems and parts eta
• Communicate to CSR when all parts have been received for an RO
• Ensure prompt return of parts. Run Outstanding credits report to ensure all returns are addressed before that month end.
• Manage the receipt of Credits in BSC
• Forward all parts invoices and credits to accounting each day.
• Assist where asked to purchase and or source parts

- . Prepare and list parts that cannot be returned and could be sold on used market.

• Open garbage bins in AM and close lids in PM
• Ensure cardboard is cut up and

laying flat in bin

• Any additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a parts role in an automotive dealership or auto body repair shop is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Team player, motivated and thrive in fast paced environment
• Good communication skills within the team and with outside suppliers
• Good computer and social media skills

Schedule:

• 8.25 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

- parts/dealership/collision centre: 1 year (preferred)

$18.00-$26.00 per hour
