    Position Summary

    We are currently recruiting for Property Adjusters to join our WorkForce Advantage team in Ontario .

    The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle Property claims by telephone and correspondence. The candidate has the ability to work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients and more. The candidate will provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.

    As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you would be on our roster to be contacted and placed on a contract with our clients based on availability and fit.

    You would be an employee of Crawford & Co. but would be working at other insurance company offices/sites (remotely).

    The role would be a contract position typically 3-12 months in length with the possibility of the contract being extended or being offered a permanent position with the client in the end.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years functional and technical claims handling experience in an insurance environmentPost-Secondary education in an insurance related field considered an assetMust be able to obtain license or working towards CIP designationExperience in property adjusting including the investigation and detailed reporting of both residential and commercial propertyStrong computer and reporting skills including Office 365Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skillsWillingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth
