    We have an exciting Team Leader opportunity available within our Bankwest Fulfilment team. As the Team Leader, you would manage a team of approx Customer Service Specialists in the Examinations team. The successful candidate must be based in Perth.

Core to the functions of the COO is a focus on customer. Every single process that we execute has a significant impact on customer experience. The COO includes Retail Operations, Business & Institutional Operations, Market Operations and Financial Crime Operations.

    Do work that matters

    As a Team Leader, your role will be to lead and motivate an energetic and proactive team to drive customer outcomes and ensure compliance standards are aligned to the groups vision.

    You will support, coach and mentor the team, whilst promoting a high-performance culture through regular coaching and development sessions.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Leading a team to drive customer outcomes within the agreed timeframes
  • Leading the day to day running of the team by monitoring and analysing team performance and workflows
  • Identifying, driving and delivering continuous improvement and efficiency enhancements to create excellent customer experiences
  • Building internal and external relationships through the use of superior stakeholder management techniques and customer service skills
  • Planning and executing risk mitigating procedures and reporting and discussing the results of your risk management

    An energetic and motivated individual with a passion for people with a drive to help them achieve and succeed. You will have prior leadership and people management experience which will allow you to confidently coach your team to deliver on SLA's and promote a positive customer experience. You will also have:

  • A strong understanding and previous exposure to Retail Home Lending operations
  • Experience and commitment in driving excellence and quality customer outcomes in an operational environment
  • The ability to drive a continuous improvement culture and change within a team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
