    Description

    Position Summary

In line with the organization's vision and values, the Home Support Scheduler plays a key role in developing and coordinating schedules for home support services, ensuring they align with service requests and relevant agreements.

    The role involves scheduling Community Health Workers (CHW) as directed by clinicians, managing referrals and service changes, inputting data into systems, and overseeing timekeeping tasks such as coordinating work schedules through scheduling software.

    Shift Rotation/Hours of Work

    Days - 08:30 to 16:30, Rotating

    Location: Fort St. John

    Application Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 education. Completion of a recognized Office Administration Certificate program and at least two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    Skills and Abilities

    • Typing speed of 40 wpm
    • Proficiency in scheduling and database software within a Windows environment
    • Effective communication skills with clients, families, community health workers, and healthcare team members
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Familiarity with general office procedures
    • Capacity to manage high work volumes and multiple tasks concurrently
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Operation of related equipment
    • Physical capability to perform job duties
