Member Services Representative (Teller) in our
Elmira branch.


Reporting to the Manager Member Services Team, Member Service Representatives (MSRs) represent the face of Kindred to our members engaging with us in our branch locations.

This position requires a detailed and friendly service partner, who will serve and connect members with solutions that best fit their financial needs, enabling them to experience banking with purpose.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build relationships with members, asking good questions and listening to understand their needs
  • Deliver exemplary service to members in completing a variety of everyday financial transactions
  • Refer members to branch colleagues for advice and solutions relating to credit and investments
  • Bring expertise in Kindred's distinct offering of products and services to members' attention to answer questions and provide solutions for future needs
  • Ensure members are equipped to access digital channels so they can bank with Kindred where, when and how they want

What to bring


You'll be perfect for this role if you're relational (you love getting to know people), solution-oriented (you're focused on understanding the need and finding the right solution), and passionate about how our credit union does banking differently, and how we can positively impact our communities together.


  • Customer service and cash handling, experience in banking preferred
  • Some postsecondary education, ideally in accounting or business
  • Active commitment to Kindred's shared values and purpose
