- Act as the Account Manager for an established customer base.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to grow installed product market share.
- Provide technical product support and promote Centrix service offerings.
- Deliver internal and external product seminars and presentations.
- Drive sales growth and profitability within the assigned territory.
- Liaise with principal manufacturers.
- Participate in relevant industry associations.
- Self‑motivated, independent individual with the drive to constantly learn and promote new sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work with difficult customers and resolve problems and issues.
- Ability to communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to travel out of town and overnight as required.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related technical diploma preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the Municipal, Commercial, Light Industrial, and HVAC sectors; experience supporting Oil & Gas accounts considered an asset.
- Previous technical sales experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with control valves and relief valves is highly advantageous.
- A clean driver's abstract and a demonstrated commitment to safety are required.

Technical Sales Representative - Calgary - CENTRIX Control Solutions
Description
About the Role
Centrix Control Solutions has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and supporting our world‑class product lines. Our successful candidate will manage an assigned territory encompassing Calgary and a portion of Southern Alberta, working with a diverse customer base that includes EPCs, OEMs, and end users.
Market Focus
This role is primarily focused on the Municipal, Commercial, Institutional, and Light Industrial markets, with some exposure to Oil & Gas accounts.
Customer Base
Product Portfolio
The Technical Sales Representative will promote a broad portfolio of products, including measurement, flow control, pressure management, and safety devices, as well as water and wastewater equipment and specialized piping solutions.
