Geoterra is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open vacancy for the Timber Cruiser position.

Geoterra pays for all travel and accommodations, including per-diem while away from home.

Wage:
$25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Accountabilities
Leading timber cruising and timber investigations.
Assist in cutblock, road layout and assessments.
Assist with the riparian and ecosystem assessments.
Data collection and entry.
Additional adhoc assistance requirements needed by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years experience as a timber cruiser in the British Columbia interior.
Working knowledge of the BC Timber Cruising Manual
Valid BC Drivers License.
Registered member of the ABCFP as an RPF, RFT, ATE, ATC.
Experience using CruiseMate application.
Level 1 first aid.
Provide a negative 12 Panel Drug and Alcohol Test upon hire.
Provide a Drivers abstract with no major infractions upon hire.
