KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Oversee the day to day performance of the Strategic Business Development Analysts (BDA) to ensure that it meets the standards and expectations for productivity, quality and consistency of proposals, templates, corporate guidelines, etc.
Provide day to day coaching and mentoring to Strategic Business Team members by addressing and resolving a wide variety of concerns or issues.
Address performance through coaching and feedback.Ensure quality of proposal results by evaluating and re-designing templates and boilerplate.
Support and provide appropriate feedback to Director of Enterprise Shared Services.
Manage the development of periodic statistic reports for management.
Create an environment that encourages and motivates Strategic Business Development to work as a team to ensure best practices and expectations are shared and followed.
Assist and participate in the interview and selection process of prospective Business Development Analysts.Manages the training new employees.
- Strategic Business Responsibilities
- Monitor status on ongoing RFP's, high risk items, unresolved roadblocks, status on completed and closed bids.
Extensive review and analysis of the business and contract terms of all incoming bids.
Accountable for proposal management and proposal design.
High-level interaction with field sales, upper management, leasing partners, legal and various internal departments to prepare the proposal project plan; manage assignment, collection and organization of proposal content to develop a complete bid response.
Responsible for managing all aspects of proposal creation ensuring required timelines are met.Participate in discussions with internal and external stakeholders to obtain full understanding of contract requirements.
Identify areas of business risk and escalate success elements that deviate from established business strategies and policies.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Innovative and open minded about changes required to improve the Strategic Business Development department functions.
- Strong people management and development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in bid preparation.
- Process experience improving processes and managing change. Six Sigma certification is an asset.
- Impeccable communication, analytical and process management skills.
- Outstanding influencing skills, with proven success driving performance in a multicultural environment with colleagues in multiple time zones.
- High level competence in MS Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, bid library/SharePoint experience.
