Join the team that truly designs with community in mind.In this position as a Junior Land Development CAD Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on exciting land development projects for a range of public and private sector clients.
Use Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D and other tools to complete drafting of construction drawings, site plans, figures and other product deliverables.
Assist designer in the geometric design of roadways, utility networks, storm ponds and site grading.Assist designer in the design of surface, sanitary, storm, water, and irrigation pipe networks.
Prepare plan/ profile drawings of roadways in AutoCAD.
Work in a collaborative team environment with project managers, engineers, designers, and construction staff.
Use knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes redlining, plotting, and drafting using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D.
Prepare drawings, sketches and notes for projects, as well as redlines and plans for submittal.Assist in resolution of technical issues on construction sites.
Perform quality control of construction drawings for peers & oneself.
Ability to work collaboratively with others on large complex projects.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D to prepare drawings and figures.
Graduate of Engineer Design and Drafting Diploma program, or equivalent.
