    Status: Part Time Professor Position
    Duration of Teaching Assignment: Fall Semester
    Faculty/Department: Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness (FHSW)
    Campus/Location: North
    Salary: Academic starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

    What you will do :

    The BSc. Biomedical Sciences program is looking for an experienced industry expert or academic to lead our histopathology lecture and lab. The Biomedical Science honors bachelor's degree, offering students theoretical and hands-on learning related to foundational and advanced concepts, techniques and processes in biology, chemistry, biotechnology and biomedical sciences.

    The successful candidate will work as a collaborative team member to support course development and instruction through the creation and delivery of all course content including lectures, laboratory experiments, evaluations and other deliverables.

    Qualifications

    What you bring to the role:
    Incumbent requires a minimum of Master's degree (PhD preferred) in histopathology, forensic sciences or a related field

    In addition, the successful candidate will have engaging and effective teaching skills, demonstrated ability to coach and support students, demonstrated experience managing classroom dynamics, strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles, a student focused approach and a demonstrated commitment to fostering innovation and positive change. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of principles of equity and inclusion, be a collaborative team player and be committed to a positive team culture. The successful candidate will possess well developed interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills and have demonstrated ability to contribute positively to curriculum development and delivery.
