About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your creative thinking and communications skills to suggest process streamlining or improvements

About Your Day

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to collect and distribute information needed to produce and write policies that support business processes.
  • Ensures that documentation style is professional and adheres to company standards when designing and developing policies, procedures, processes, and related documents.
  • Produce draft copies of documentation for review by the stakeholders, and ensure feedback is received and addressed appropriately
  • Support the Manager in facilitating crossfunctional stakeholder/Board reviews, meetings, feedback.
  • Ensure version control is maintained for all documents.
  • Produce final draft copies of all policies for final review and implementation.
  • Present policy creation status updates to the team on a regular basis; ensuring all timelines are met.
  • Provide support to the business throughout the document's approval and implementation process. Assist the Manager in ensuring that revised and new policies are implemented.
  • Maintain a centralized repository and database with policy information and policy records/files.
  • Assist the Manager with research and analysis and preparation of reports, strategies, summaries, and other documents to support policy planning and execution.
  • Works with Records Management team to ensure compliance with proper storage and tracking of policies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing iteration and refinement of the Policy Governance Framework to drive compliance and respond to evolving business needs, including strategies for staff training.
  • Maintain a central repository where business processes, standard operating procedures and process maps can be accessed and maintained.
  • Maintain the schedule for developing, updating, reviewing, or terminating policies, procedures, or process maps, as required. Ensure that document lifecycle processes are maintained.
  • Monitor and report on compliance of operational policy governance framework and policy attestations.
  • Interface with various business units to review and develop policies and controls, as well as identify gaps in existing policies.
  • Send out and follow up on 90day, 30day and date of renewal reminders to the business.
  • Keep records of all policy revisions, updates, and deletions
  • Perform independent review of business policies and procedures and make recommendations for necessary policy revisions and supporting training.
  • Track the status of all operational policies at each stage of the document lifecycle
About You

  • A University degree with specialization in English Literature, Journalism or related field or up to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in policy development and report preparation
  • Experience in policy development and analysis.
  • Experience in research, writing, and notetaking.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of English grammar, punctuation, and various writing styles. Demonstrated ability to produce wellwritten corporate documents.
