Position SummaryKey Accountabilities
- Work within the production team to assemble our products.
- Read, understand, and follow electronic schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Thoroughly test and troubleshoot fully wired electronic control panels and subassemblies.
- Programming of our controllers and data acquisition components.
- Configure and test communication equipment such as LAN/WIFI networks, cell modems, and radio modems.
- Test and perform quality control on completed products.
- Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- Write technical manuals and develops schematics to describe and illustrate system operating characteristics.
- Interact and coordinate effectively with all other company departments.
- Ensures safe work practices are always used.
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Experience in the oilfield or with oilfieldrelated products would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to relate effectively with all disciplines at all levels of the company.
- Personal growth potential that can keep pace with the expanding needs of the company and the business.
- Ability to solder is an asset, but not required.
- Able to use power tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Experience assembling control panels or working in a panel shop is an asset.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Motivated selfstarter who can manage their time effectively.
- Graduate of a diploma program in Electronics Technologist/ Electrical Technologist/Instrumentation Technologist
- 3 years of experience in lieu of required educational requirements
