- Sorting, labelling, and preparing insect specimens for identification and analysis.
- Assist with taxonomic identification of bee species and other insects.
- Follow detailed protocols and manage and record samples with integrity.
- Keep detailed laboratory notes.
- Work effectively in a team environment, participate in meetings, and communicate clearly and professionally with other team members (in English or French).
- Assist with data entry in Excel and other database software.
- Persons other related duties as required, including assisting staff in processing inset specimens for museum storage.
- Most duties involve prolonged sitting and repetitive tasks.
