You could be involved in:

  • Preparing samples, reagents, standards and reference materials for analysis;
  • Performing sample analysis in various matrices within the department using a variety of instrumentation and equipment;
  • Performing instrument/equipment calibration, maintenance and repair as required;
  • Evaluating analytical data and creating written reports;
  • Learning and using industry leading procedures and processes in analytical testing;
  • Engaging in our safety culture to meet and exceed safety standards;
  • Challenging yourself to meet quick turnaround commitments.

Requirements:


  • Recognized B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in Chemistry, or related discipline;
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Communicate effectively in English (written and verbal);
  • Strong organization skills with an eye for detail;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
