    At Tactable, we're building the next world-class cloud engineering firm out of Canada — servicing companies who are building/migrating products in the cloud. We develop new products end-to-end, migrate legacy solutions to the cloud, and everything in between.

    We're a remote-first company, and have been around since 2017 building products for the likes of Shopify, Walmart, Rakuten and many others.

    As an Engineering Manager at Tactable, your job will be to build and lead engineering teams as we grow our company.

    What you'll do

  • Improve internal engineering processes to continue to improve team effectiveness
  • Work with our management team to deliver against ambitious roadmaps for our clients, and build the company
  • Build, manage, and retain teams of engineers within the company

    Ultimately, we are looking for a player-coach engineer. You'll both be writing code and managing engineering teams.

  • You have strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. You can demonstrate a track record of making your engineering team better
  • You have a desire to learn the nitty-gritty of new technologies, discuss new ideas, and work collaboratively with a team of engineers to build cool stuff
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial instinct and a get-it-done attitude. We love people who just have a knack for figuring things out — you embrace challenges You're looking to grow an organization like ours and are excited about scaling a growing company even further.
  • 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role (i.e. software, systems, architecture)
    2+ years carrying out Engineering Manager responsibilities
