The Revenue Management (RM) Analyst is responsible to manage and monitor an assigned group of markets with the objective of maximizing network revenues and participates in the development and execution of market strategies within their area of responsibility.


Revenue Management is a blend of art and science that requires a combination of market awareness and targeted analysis to make commercial decisions.


Responsibilities:


  • Management of an assigned group of markets to maximize network revenue by using appropriate levers and commercial knowledge.
  • Ensure completion of weekly workflows in accordance with business processes.
  • Analyze booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and risks in constantly evolving marketplace.
  • Obtain strong knowledge and detailed understanding of customer booking behavior and willingness to pay.
  • Development and execution of coordinated pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Liaise with other RM practitioners to ensure accurate forecasts, correct inventory and that proper competitive pricing is in place.
  • Calibration of RM System inputs to reflect recent changes in the marketplace.
  • Validation of RM System outputs to ensure continued alignment with market expectations and strategies.
  • Conduct appropriate monitoring and postaudits using key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate findings and the tactical/strategic action applied.
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for portfolio assigned and of any adhoc initiatives.

Qualifications

  • University degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Handson team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Action/results oriented, analytical with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Displays flexibility and adaptability to quickly react to operational issues and/or a changing marketplace.
  • Ability to prioritize heavy workloads comprised of weekly routines and adhoc tasks.
  • Comfortable telling a story through data in order to drive actions and achieve branch goals.
  • Interest in the aviation industry and learning about the practice of RM.
