  • Reporting into the Director, Digital eBusiness, this role will be responsible for executing internal engagement strategies and programs and managing a team of eCommerce Specialists to support the organization's efforts in driving adoption and penetration on Wolseley Express. This role will focus on direct engagement with regional leaders and, with the aid of the eCommerce Specialists, Branch Pros to support sales/branch activities to increase understanding and utilization of digital capabilities and tools._

What you will do:

  • Lead monthly web sales target reviews with General Managers, Directors, BAMs & Sales Managers, to review and communicate eCommerce progress leveraging regional dashboards/scorecards to highlight opportunities.
  • Partner with Analytics Manager to understand customer conversion behaviour and share actionable insights with regions and eCommerce Specialists, to improve effectiveness of Branch Pro activities.
  • Work with regional leaders, Analytics Manager and eCommerce Specialists to develop Wolseley Express target customer lists and action plans.
  • Collaborate with Manager, eBusiness Programs to develop internal training programs to increase Branch Pro competence and expertise in promoting eBusiness solutions to customers
  • Wolseley Express, Web Quotes, Barcoding and Prokeep.
  • Conduct internal training and demos, and assist with customer calls, solutioning discussions, and other support as required.
  • Partner with Strategic Accounts, to provide solutioning and onboarding guidance with new accounts.
  • Communicate key website enhancements/future developments, and digital marketing initiatives to regional leaders.
  • Gather feedback from eCommerce Specialists, Branches and Sales, related to issues and desired enhancements for Wolseley Express and communicate to digital product team accordingly.
  • Assist with testing of new functionality enhancements, prerollout to customers.
  • Lead and mentor eCommerce Specialists and provide prioritization guidance of activities to support regional efforts to drive utilization and adoption of Wolseley Express.
  • Set objectives and monitor effectiveness of eCommerce Specialists.
  • Support customer service including site issues and customer complaints.
  • Provide oversight of the Branch Pro program.
  • Utilize insights obtained through Branch Pro Network to set the standard for an Omni-Channel experience
  • Escalate issues & opportunities to eBusiness management
  • Represent eBusiness at customer events such as trade shows and local branch events, as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Technology
  • 5+ years experience selling or marketing eCommerce solutions in a sales or services position
  • 5+ years people management experience, with ability to effectively lead remote team members
  • Knowledge of transactional eCommerce best practices, in a B2B environment
  • Strong technical experience
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft, especially Excel
  • Superior critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to analyze data and produce actionable insights
  • Proven experience in analyzing/capturing customer needs and documenting requirements
  • Superior presentation and meeting facilitation skills, with ability to influence and handle objections
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to gain a high level of professional credibility with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, react with urgency and reprioritize as needed
