  • Triglobal Solutions Group Inc. is seeking two (2) Records Management Clerks to join our talented Service Delivery team at Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Northern Development (Government of Alberta) to support archiving files/boxes and identify the records contained in the boxes and determine their disposition.


The successful contractor(s) have an anticipated May 8, 2023 start date for a 4-week contract (ending June 2, 2023) with two 4-week extensions available (total contract term up to 3-month contract).

PROJECT OVERVIEW
To archive files/boxes and identify the records contained in the boxes and determine their disposition. These responsibilities fall with the framework of the Government of Alberta Records and Information Management Legislation.


ADDITIONAL DELIVERY DETAILS
Support work of two branches in the Labour and Workforce Strategies Division.


DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The records management clerk helps to identify, arrange and maintain records for compliance and risk management.

Duties will include the following but are not limited to:

  • Review files determine retention and archiving periods.
  • Paper and electronic filing.
  • Lifting file boxes up to 30 lbs.
  • Create inventory lists.
  • Interpret records management regulations & policies.

MANDATORY SKILLS
M1. Proposed resource must have high school diploma

M2.

Proposed resource must have 3 years of demonstrated experience with records management:
creating/understanding records inventory, retention schedules, records storage, records retention & disposition, archiving and records destruction (3+ years)

M3. Proposed resource must have demonstrated experience showing exceptional organization skills and an ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities (2+ years)

M4. Proposed resource must have demonstrated experience showing ability to follow procedures and policies (2+ years)

M5. Proposed resource must possess strong attention to detail (2+ years)

M6. Proposed resource must have demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and be familiar with printer, scanner and copy machines (3+ years)

M7. Proposed resource must have the ability to lift and handle boxes for file preparation (up to 30 lbs) (2+ years)


DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
D1. Records & Archive Management education will be an asset (1+ years)

D2. Proposed resource must have demonstrated experience with records management (3+ years)

D3. Proposed resource must have basic knowledge of Government of Alberta Records Management legislation, regulation, policies and procedures (1+ years)

D4. Proposed resource must have basic knowledge of Government of Alberta Records Management legislation, regulation, policies and procedures (1+ years)

D5. In addition to the ability to lift and handle boxes for file preparation, the proposed resource must have knowledge of safe lifting procedures (1+ years)
