Position Summary
Under the direction of the F&B Supervisor the Beverage Server is responsible for providing exceptional and quality food and beverage service in high volume areas.
Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia's culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
Job Duties
- Provides exceptional guest service to casino guests
- Provides food and beverage service following established standards of service
- Cleans and buses section
- Responsible for communicating any potential issues or concerns regarding responsible beverage service
- Works as a member of the team and provides support to coworkers on shift to ensure an overall positive guest experience for all casino guests
- Responsible for handling various financial transactions involving beverage service to guests.
- Responsible for restocking of products and supplies, cleaning, and others duties as required
- Provides efficient and exceptional service to our guests in a friendly, professional and positive manner at all times as they are ambassadors of Casino Nova Scotia
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership,
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
- Finds ways to
play ; you are serious about work, without being serious in demeanor

be there: - Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you
make their day
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required
- Completion of the Responsible Service Certificate "Serve Right it's just good business" is required
- Cash handling experience is required
- Point of sales experience is required
- Oneyear food and beverage serving experience in either a bar or restaurant setting is required
- Demonstrated strong sales and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, is required
- Ability to able to stand and carry a tray for the duration of a shift is required
- Must be able to work quickly, under pressure in a busy, fastpaced environment
- Demonstrated know of Spirit, Wine and Beer is required
- Satisfactory attendance is required
- Must be pleasant, positive, selfmotivated individual with the ability to multitask
- Must be neat, clean, and professional with your appearance
- Must be able to communicate well with your fellow team members
- Must be able to commit to offering our guests the highest level of guest service
- Must be friendly, detailed oriented, fun, and outgoing
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular casino, restaurant or bar environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, odors; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, nontraditional work hours
