Description

Management of bids and tenders - The incumbent must control the agenda, dates and deadlines for all bids and tenders for Ontario, Québec and Maritimes. He/she makes the analysis of all requirements and completes the documentation with all relevant information. and is responsible to ensures timely delivery of completed bid with requested attachments to the bid.

Pricing - The incumbent prepares the price analysis and makes recommendation to the sales department using the Opex Analytics tool.

Management of bid system
  • Incumbent is responsible for maintaining the structure of the bids within the bid system. He/she will enter prices and makes awards in Bid System and will be responsible to make all updates and changes in the system.

Customer reporting and support - Incumbent will be a resource to prepare, compile and develop customer specific reporting. He/she will coordinate distribution of information to customers as required. The incumbent will prepare all internal analyses and reports. These reports may include information such as tonnage, price average and time delivery.

Internal Sales and support
  • Incumbent will be a resource for internal sales followups (customer quote confirmations, account openings, customer information for order entry).

Order management
  • Incumbent will manage review and release of customer orders as required. He/she will monitor and release orders on block status in timely manner to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, accounting or finance
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position
  • Experience with public governments bids
  • Knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SAP, ACCESS
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Organization skills
  • Integrity and diplomacy
  • Meticulous and precise
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
  • Ability to communicate with customers
