Job Description:


Test Engineering Co-Op's will perform project-oriented work under the direction of test development engineers that is focused on providing support in the development and execution of manual and automated test which are used to verify the functionality of variable frequency drives.


Primary duties can include:


  • Design and development of scripts for automating test procedures
  • Documenting of test procedures
  • Execution of test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated)
  • Creation of test reports
  • Assist with lab audit/improvement activities
  • Maintenance of documentation (Schematics, Test documents, Configuration documents)
  • Assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Available to work 9 months, August 2023 through May 202
  • Must hold proof of Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

Desired Qualifications:


  • Available to work 12 months, August 2023 through August 202
  • Must be working towards a bachelor's of science degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
  • Previous internship or coop experience
  • Panel wiring experience
  • Exposure to AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and Control Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft VISIO and Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with C,.NET, VB, or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to use tools and lift up to 35 pounds.
