• Positive criminal reference check and clear Vulnerable Sector Reference Check (must be within the past 6 months)
• Uptodate immunization records and TB test
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate and CPR level C
• Provide a minimum of 2 references
• Minimum of 3 full days availability to work
• Knowledge of:
• Knowledge of policies and procedures, parent handbook, and staff handbook
• Ensure implementation of the Centre's Program Statement
• Attend staff meetings, training and ongoing professional development
• Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Posses excellent professional and practice skills with colleagues and families
• Ability to address all childcare inquires
• Ability to carry out the physical duties and tasks of a childcare's daily routine
• Ability to sings songs, form program plans, implements activities, takes initiative and is eager to learn
• Experience with young children and enjoys exploring and engaging with them.
• Ensure classroom, equipment, playground and building are in good repair
