The Housekeeping Aide reports to the Support Service Manager and maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the client's home by cleaning floors; spot cleaning walls windows doors between washing dusting emptying wastebaskets rearranging furniture removing waste daily cleaning disinfecting all resident homes collecting receiving laundry sorts according to type condition weight follows specific instructions treatment soiled linens separates loads classification washes dries laundry following machine operations designated times etc folds sorts delivers appropriate units observes operation machines malfunctions Supervisor assists maintaining laundry facilities equipment supplies advises Supervisor inventory levels chemicals linen shortages ensures residents privacy performance duties adheres company policies procedures quality assurance fire safety performs outside work removal light snow salting required cooperates departments transferring residents moving storing supplies furniture equipment participates meetings assigned attends in-service education programs
