Job Purpose:


The primary role of the Wedding Concierge is to make sure that the wedding couple feel completely at ease through their special day.

There is no task too small for the concierge to pamper the wedding couple - whether that be performing last minute décor changes, fixing an outfit before photos, or simply making sure that the wedding couple has eaten.

The Concierge does not lose sight of the couple from the time they arrive on site to the time of their departure and the event has been completed.

This person is the Lead Server for the head table and responsible for the family and guest satisfaction.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Assume role of Assistant Manager for the event coordinating with the Maître D' and other event staff to ensure flawless execution and service.
  • Review contracts ahead of time to ensure all details are understood and properly accommodated.
  • Act as a liaison for the wedding person(s), dayof contact for the person of honour for all timing, set up and service matters.
  • Host the wedding couple at the ceremony rehearsal, coordinate all timing, music, wedding parties and family throughout while collecting any outstanding details of the event.
  • Provide impeccable service and acts as host to clients and their guests at wedding menu tastings, answering questions and direct questions appropriately when necessary.
  • Accept and perform additional tasks as required for optimal performance of the restaurant.
  • Actively represent and promote Pearle Hospitality's core values within the workplace.
  • Act as an ambassador of Spencer's At The Waterfront and Pearle Hospitality.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as defined and outlined by Pearle Hospitality.
  • Follow all Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all guests and team members.
  • Adhere to all cleanliness and sanitization practices.
  • Maintain professional appearance and act with integrity and honesty.

What we would like you to bring to the position:

  • Smart Serve Certificate
  • Previous event or hospitality experience considered an asset.

Teamwork:Work collaboratively with Maître D', Servers, Bartenders, and Support staff to ensure needs and expectation of the wedding couple and family are being met and exceeded.

Attention to Detail:Remain mindful of smallest details expressed by the wedding couple, making sure that anything from décor to outfits are perfect for them.

Adaptability: Ability to remain poised and professional in a fast-paced environment and positively interact with a variety of diverse guests and team members. Solve issues as they arise, making sure they are kept behind the scenes and the wedding couple continue to enjoy their day without interruption.

Customer Service:Be able to provide the wedding couple with the superior experience that guests of Pearle Hospitality venues and events have come to know. Maintain a warm, welcoming demeanor, even under difficult situations making sure that wedding hosts and guests receive top notch service, making wedding dreams come true.
