Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
  • Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure excellent customer service by resolving customer complaints and addressing any issues that arise
  • Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a retail management role is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
